Critical Reading, Critical Writing and The Writing Process

Very few people write in exactly the same manner, since writing is a fluid process that allows significant style variation. However, following some of the commonly used writing techniques helps to provide structure, and to some degree, a sense of security with critical writing where writers use evidence to make sound conclusions. One of the first considerations of critical writing and overall writing efficiency is critical reading. Critical reading involves active, reflective analysis of written content that allows discovery of information and ideas that support a designated topic.
